About Us

Dr. Matyas and Associates perform eye exams to provide spectacle prescriptions for all your visual needs.  We have fashion frames for all ages.  We fit specialty contact lenses. You receive an ocular health evaluation where we check for red eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other conditions associated with systemic diseases.

Dr. Matyas, a developmental optometrist, examines how your visual system functions.  Of the many visual skills you have, she determines your areas of strength and weakness.  To improve functioning, Dr. Matyas designs vision therapy programs for patients with learning related vision disorders, binocular problems and post-concussion vision difficulties, and prescribes spectacles with consideration for both central and peripheral visual systems.
