Dr. Brandon Luu, O.D., brings a fresh perspective and a patient-first approach to Wilmington Eye Care Optometry. After earning his Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University and completing his undergraduate studies at UC Riverside, Dr. Luu returned to California with a goal: to provide intentional, high-quality eye care in a community that deserves it.

Dr. Luu focuses on contact lens fittings, dry eye treatment, and medical eye care for conditions like glaucoma, red eye, and diabetic retinopathy. He also offers co-management for LASIK and cataract surgery, helping patients feel supported before and after procedures.

For more than 50 years, Dr. Richard Peters, O.D., has proudly served the Wilmington community, providing personalized eye care to generations of families. Known for his warm, approachable style and lifelong dedication to patient well-being, he continues to set the tone for what it means to truly care for each individual who walks through the door.

Dr. Peters earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry, where he built the foundation for a career defined by consistency, kindness, and a commitment to excellence. Throughout the years, he has helped countless patients achieve clearer, healthier vision, all while staying current with the latest in eye care technology and best practices.

Beyond the exam room, Dr. Peters is a passionate sports fan who enjoys football, basketball, tennis, and golf. He’s especially loyal to the Los Angeles Lakers, even more so since the Luka Dončić trade, which has only made game nights that much more exciting.
