My baby was born with a vision problem and could not see much on her left and a bit on her right eye. I went to many - I mean, many doctors in OC - over 15, looking for more flexible approach that I know from Europe - I was looking for therapy, since kids' eyes are malleable. I found Vision Development and went with them. Today, my "baby" is almost 18 gorgeous young girl and she can see without glasses and only with a small support using a contact lens on her left eye!!!! She can 100% qualify for a small lasic correction of her left eye only and both of her eyes work in unison - not separately! It took some work and effort and thank you, Vision Development Center! You gave my child her eyesight, when 15 other doctors were telling me she needs thick glasses and a possibly surgery, if she qualifies - you said no, let's work on this! Now I know, she would NOT qualify for the surgery, if I went with other doctors and think glasses. She would be nearly blind by now. I can't say thank you enough to Dr Rakov and all the other doctors and vision therapists and team members - I wish your amazing practice to have many patients you can truly help and success! I appreciate you and what you do - you do not even know how much! A loving mother says: THANK YOU! All moms and other out there, struggling with seeing - I highly recommend Vision Development Center!

We used to go to Dr. Rakov for many years. She was instrumental in saving my child's eyesight. Dr. Rakov has recently retired and the Practice was taken over by Dr. Spitzer, who is an amazing specialist as well. We are happy to continue working on our sight and getting ready for a possible surgery. I am very grateful and highly recommend

Dr. Rakov is amazing in working with each person where they are. She takes the time to find out what your vision goals are and works with you.
