    Dr. Jordyn Fregonese earned her Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours from Queens University in 2019, where she also obtained a Certificate in Business in 2020. She received her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Illinois College of Optometry, graduating with the Clinical Excellence Award, Trustee Scholarship, the Dr. Deannda Roder Memorial Scholarship and gained entry into Tomb and Key Honorary Society as well as the BSK Honorary Society. 

    During her tenure in Chicago, Dr. Fregonese’s comprehensive training took her across Chicago, Colorado, and Ontario, enriching her expertise and interest in Disease Management , Dry Eye Therapy, Macular Degeneration, as well as Paediatric Eye Care and Myopia Management. She further trained at prominent dry eye clinics in Sarnia and Denver, mastering treatments including Intense Pulsed Light therapy, iLux, Lipiflow, and other advanced procedures. Dr. Fregonese has also received extensive training in pre- and post-operative cataract management. 

    Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys outdoor activities, working out, reading, and experimenting with new recipes.

    Dr. M. Katherine Papasodaro has been providing comprehensive eye care to the Maple community and surrounding area since joining Dr. Vincent Gagliardi and Associates in 2015. She takes the time to educate her patients on the importance of routine eye examinations to promote preventive care and eye health.

    Recognizing that routine eye exams can lead to the detection of a wide array of systemic diseases led to her desire to pursue optometry as a career.

    Dr. Papasodaro has a special interest in refractive surgery co-management.

    She graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Optometry in 2006 and is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists.

    Dr. Papasodaro is fluent in English and Italian.

    Dr. Vincent Gagliardi is the founder of Dr. Vincent Gagliardi and Associates where he has been providing high quality, comprehensive eye care to families in Maple and beyond for over 20 years. Dr. Gagliardi established his practice with the goal of providing superior family eye care by offering first rate products and services to all patients. Over the years, he has expanded the practice by building a team of professionals with a wide array of expertise. He graduated as a Doctor of Optometry in 1996 from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA with many awards including Valedictorian of his graduating class. Dr. Gagliardi has done externships in Boston, Connecticut, and Arizona where he gained valuable experience in the treatment and management of eye disease. He is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists. Dr. Gagliardi remains committed to providing the best quality eye care to all patients.

    Dr. Victoria Lam received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo majoring in Biomedical Sciences.  Having a passion for Optometry, Dr. Lam went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Waterloo. 
    During Dr. Lam’s externship placements in Waterloo, Toronto and Detroit, she gained valuable experience in managing binocular vision disorders, and ocular diseases including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye disease.  

     

    Dr. Lam is certified in the use of Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents (TPA) and is able to prescribe medications to treat various diseases.

    Prior to joining Dr. Gagliardi’s practice, she worked in York Region for the past 10 years. Dr. Lam speaks English and can provide eye exams in Cantonese and Mandarin as well. 
     
    She lives in Markham with her husband, daughter, and son. Her hobbies include traveling, testing out cookbooks, and learning about wine. 
     
    Dr. Lam is looking forward to providing quality eye care to the residents of Maple and the surrounding communities.

    I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Fregonese at Dr. Vincent Gagliardi & Associates. From the moment she welcomed me into the exam room, her warm energy and genuine enthusiasm for her work were immediately clear. She’s a young doctor, but incredibly knowledgeable and confident, yet still so approachable and kind. What stood out the most was how truly caring and attentive she is. Dr. Fregonese took the time to listen to every concern I had, no matter how small, and explained everything in a clear and reassuring way. She made sure I understood my eye health fully and that every part of the exam was comfortable.
