What first drew Dr. McNaughton to optometry was the opportunity to combine healthcare, science, and patient education. Over the years, that passion has only grown stronger. Dr. Richard Solomon has been a cornerstone of the Bethesda eye care community for over 30 years. His dedication to providing high-quality eye care has earned him a loyal patient following and a reputation for excellence.

Dr. Solomon obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland, and his Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Dr. Solomon's extensive experience and commitment to continuous improvement have positioned him as a leader in primary medical eye care and specialty contact lens fitting.

His professional experience includes:

• Chairman of Virginia Advisory Board for TLC Laser Eye Centers
• Specialist in Refractive Surgical Co-Management (LASIK, PRK, CK)
