Dr. Savannah Dodds is a medically trained optometrist with a decade of experience managing everything from routine eye exams to advanced ocular disease. A graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry, she’s worked extensively with specialty contact lenses, diabetic eye care, and pediatric vision.
Originally from Houston, Dr. Dodds holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University and completed her optometry training in Houston before settling in Conroe.
She opened Today’s Vision 242 to bring modern, medically focused care to the community she now calls home. Her approach is straightforward: explain clearly, treat thoroughly, and build lasting relationships with patients of all ages.

She is very thorough and friendly! Dr. Dobbs is extremely knowledgeable and her friendly personality helps the process go smoothly.

From the moment I called to the moment they handed me my frames, Dr. Dodds and her team have been amazing.
I initially had my eye exam at Costco, but they were unable to make frames for me because of my very high astigmatism. I then contacted Target Optical, Warby Parker and a couple of others who also said their lab did not have the capabilities to work with my prescription.
I was feeling desperate and honestly starting to get upset that no one could make me frames.
That was until I spoke to Adriana here, who was so helpful and kind. She reassured me that they would be able to work with my prescription. I went in and what I thought would be a very limited selection of frames for my prescription turned out to feel like unlimited options. I’ve never in my life (and I’ve been wearing glasses since elementary school) have had a Dr. help me pick out my frames, but Dr.Dodds did just that! With my astigmatism being so high she helped me choose a frame that I not only loved but would help hide the thickness of the lens.
I was feeling nervous when they told me my frames were ready for pick up and preparing myself incase I was disappointed with the final product. Not because I didn’t trust or have confidence in Dr.Dodds but because my prescription increased and the lens in my previous frames were already super thick.
When I picked them up, I was shocked at how they looked! I couldn’t have asked for better, they came out perfect and I am so happy with them!

Wonderful experience! My daughter actually found this place and was so pleased with her experience, I had to give them a try. They did not disappoint!! Dr. Dodds is kind, easy to talk to, and very thorough! Mona was also kind, super knowledgeable, and patient in helping me select just the right frames! Highly recommend!!!
