Dr. Kirk Tchorbajian, MD
Dr. Tchorbajian is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist. He served as chief of Ophthalmology Services for many years at Saint Francis Hospital in Jersey City, NJ. He has also been a clinical instructor at the Eye and Ear Infirmary/Eye Institute of NJ/UMDNJ, the Newark Eye and Ear Trauma Service, and UMDNJ/NJ.
Dr. Tchorbajian completed his medical education and received his medical degree from the University Paul Sabatier Toulouse France. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at the Affiliated Eye Residencies of NJ/UMDNJ, and concluded his training by completing a fellowship in Kerato-Refractive Surgery at the Eye Institute of NJ/Newark Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Tchorbajian is experienced at treating eye diseases such as Dry Eye disorders and ocular surface diseases, Cataracts, Glaucoma, Diabetes, and Age-Related Macular Degeneration and is interested in Preventative Ocular Health.
Dr. Benjamin Natale, D.O.
Dr. Natale is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist. He received a BA from Columbia College, an MS from Wagner College and his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery.
He has been a clinical instructor at the Newark Eye and Ear Infirmary, Eye Institute of NJ, UMDNJ, Newark Eye and Ear Trauma Service, NJ College of Osteopathic Medicine, NY College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Union Hospital, the St Barnabas Health Care System, and Seton Hall University.
Dr. Natale is experienced at eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetes, and age-related macular degeneration.
He continues to be a member in good standing of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society, of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Randa Garrana, MD
Dr. Randa M. Garrana is an experienced LASIK and Cornea specialist with over 41,000 LASIK procedures performed in her years of laser vision correction experience. In her Harvard subspecialty fellowship training she was involved in the FDA clinical trials of PRK and LASIK. Dr. Garrana is continually involved with clinical projects to evaluate the latest advances in vision correction technologies and also consults on various anterior segment problems as well as challenging surgical complications.
Dr. Paige Hershkin, D.O.
Dr. Paige Hershkin is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and glaucoma. She did her ophthalmology residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City followed by a glaucoma fellowship at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. She has been working with Associated Eye Physicians & Surgeons since 2001 and has established strong relationships with her patients and staff over the years.
When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, spending time outdoors, traveling, and playing tennis.
Dr. Matthew Hosler, MD, PhD
Dr. Hosler is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and fellowship trained glaucoma specialist. He holds his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He later graduated from the MD/PhD program at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he was awarded the Stanley S. Bergen medal of excellence.
He completed Ophthalmology residency training at Penn State University School of Medicine where he served as chief resident. He received several awards during internship and residency. This was followed by glaucoma surgical fellowship training at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and NYU, where he conducted peer reviewed glaucoma research with Dr. Robert Ritch and Dr. Celso Tello.
Dr. Hosler is married with 4 children. He has served as an assistant coach for the Cranford Baseball and Softball League. He currently serves as the Swimming and Lifesaving merit badge counselor for Boy Scout Troop 80 in the Patriot’s Path Counsel. He is a lecturer in the clinical medicine course at Seton Hall University. He is also a regular lecturer for the Diabetes Empowerment Education Program through Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health in Rahway.
Dr. Hosler performs cataract, refractive, and glaucoma surgeries at the River Drive Surgery and Laser Center, Saint Barnabas Outpatient Surgery Center, Clara Maas Hospital, and RWJ University Hospital Rahway. He sees patients in our Union, Rahway, Belleville, and Jersey City offices.

Dr. Hira Javeed, O.D.
Dr. Javeed is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Montclair State University. For optometry school, she attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and graduated with clinical honors. She has significant experience in primary eye care and the diagnosis and management of ocular medical conditions, including glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetes.
She also has extensive experience with difficult to fit contact lenses, including astigmatism, bifocal, and dry eye patients. Dr. Javeed is best known for her patience, understanding and thoroughness when providing patient care. In her free time, she likes to travel and enjoys cooking.
