Dr. Shreya Jayasimha is a board-certified optometrist specializing in comprehensive care and ocular disease. Her passion for eyecare and her extensive clinical knowledge allow her to expertly co-manage a myriad of clinical cases, including, but not limited to, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and more!

Dr. Jayasimha graduated with honors from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, and pursued her Ocular Disease residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL, the #1 eye hospital in the United States. Dr. Jayasimha is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. Her interests lie in teaching, co-managing complex clinical cases, and engaging in primary, secondary, and tertiary clinical care.

Dr. Jayasimha is currently accepting new patients.

In her spare time, Dr. Jayasimha enjoys spending time with her husband and two energetic toddlers, exercising, watching movies, and traveling worldwide.

Since 1980, he has provided unparalleled expertise and compassionate care to patients. Currently serving as a senior attending physician at Norwalk Hospital, Dr. Oberman holds the esteemed position of chairman of the section of ophthalmology.

Dr. Oberman has shared his wealth of knowledge at esteemed platforms like the American Academy of Ophthalmology, captivating audiences with his original research. His insights have found their way into reputable journals, including the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine. Locally, he has lectured at Norwalk Hospital, the Norwalk Department of Health, the American Diabetes Association, the Society of Ophthalmic Personnel at Yale, and the Connecticut Society of Ophthalmic Personnel.

Dr. Oberman offers comprehensive eye care services, including thorough eye examinations. His specialization, however, extends to the meticulous treatment of complex eye disorders like diabetic eye disease, cataracts, glaucoma, and a spectrum of ocular surgical procedures.
