    A dry eye specialist with deep experience in managing surgical referrals and treating eye emergencies, Dr. Shackelford provides compassionate, comprehensive care for patients of all ages across DeSoto County.

    After choosing to raise his five daughters in Desoto County, Dr. Shackelford built his practice on the same values he brings to his family: trust, attentiveness, and a commitment to doing what's right.

    Dr. Shackelford is amazing!! I have been a patient of his since 2018 and he and his staff have always offered exceptional service. He really cares about your vision and will NOT rush you through like other optometrists I’ve visited. They only care about numbers. He will take the time to ensure your glasses and contacts are the best that can be had. Absolutely recommend!!!!

He really cares about your vision and will NOT rush you through like other optometrists I’ve visited. They only care about numbers. Always super helpful and always helps me pick out the cutest glasses. All the girls are great, but she stands out. Always have. Dr. Shackelford is blessed to have her!!!! She makes sure everyone is taken care of. Never rushes the patients after being seen and getting their glasses and contacts. Gives all options available. Helps you pick out what fits you best whether it’s contacts, colored contacts, or glasses. Give this woman a raise !!!! Because of these two I will always be a customer at this place…..
