Dr. Stacie Van Voorst grew up in upstate New York. She received her Bachelor of Science at the University of Buffalo and her Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA. Although she performs eye examinations on patients of all ages, Dr. Stacie’s passion is working with children, especially those that struggle in school. With Vision Therapy and glasses, she is able to help both children and adults that suffer from strabismus, amblyopia, visual discomfort and/or difficulty at school. In addition, she works with patients that have suffered from traumatic brain injuries (concussions). She is a board certified Fellow in the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. She is also an active member of the Optometric Extension Foundation, American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, Northeastern Texas Optometric Association and Prosper Chamber of Commerce.

After graduating from optometry school, Dr. Kelvin and Dr. Stacie moved to the Dallas area to be close to friends and family. They fell in love with the area and opened their practice in 2005.

Dr. Stacie and Dr. Kelvin are involved in giving back to the community through various committees. They are also active members in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church here in Prosper. They enjoy spending time with their two children, Ella and Luke.
