Dr. Anthony Sesto brings a deep connection to the community and a passion for full-scope eye care. After graduating from South Lake High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree in biology/pre-optometry from Ferris State University and received his Doctor of Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry, graduating with honors in 2016. During his clinical training, he completed rotations at Dorn V.A. Hospital in South Carolina and Duane Waters Hospital in Michigan, where he gained advanced experience managing ocular disease, keratoconus, low vision, and surgical co-management.

Before joining Normandy Optical, Dr. Sesto practiced in a multi-specialty ophthalmology setting, where he developed deep expertise in medical eye care, including the treatment and long-term management of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, cataracts, dry eye, and macular degeneration. Today, he leads with that same clinical precision — offering comprehensive exams for patients of all ages and specializing in complex contact lens fittings, including scleral lenses for keratoconus, post-surgical corneal conditions, and severe dry eye.

Dr. Sesto also serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Michigan College of Optometry, where he mentors optometry residents in clinical settings. Residents often work alongside him in the office, contributing to a collaborative and educational care environment for patients.

His skill and reputation have earned him ongoing referrals from regional ophthalmology leaders, including Kresge Eye Institute, particularly for patients needing specialty lenses for corneal dystrophies, Sjögren’s syndrome, and graft-versus-host disease. Dr. Sesto is also an active member of the Michigan Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and multiple charitable organizations dedicated to advancing access to vision care.

Outside the office, Dr. Sesto enjoys time outdoors — golfing, boating, and spending weekends up north with his wife, Jessica, and their three young children: AJ, Juliet, and Maria.

A proud De La Salle graduate, Dr. John Chrustowski has deep roots in Southeast Michigan and a firm commitment to serving the communities that shaped him. He studied biology at Ferris State University and was accepted into the Michigan College of Optometry through its early admittance program, later earning his Doctor of Optometry degree with high honors in 2018. He also holds a degree in Vision Science.

During his clinical training, Dr. Chrustowski completed rotations in specialty contact lenses right here at Normandy Optical, pediatric and primary care at Henry Ford OptimEyes, and ocular disease at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center. These experiences shaped his full-scope approach to care — one that blends precise diagnostics with a strong patient-first philosophy.

Today, Dr. Chrustowski sees patients across multiple Normandy Optical locations and provides comprehensive care for all ages. His clinical interests include managing dry eye disease, myopia control, and the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye disease, and age-related macular degeneration. He’s passionate about forming long-term relationships with patients and caring for entire families across generations.

Dr. Chrustowski is an active member of the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Outside of work, you’ll find him spending time with family, enjoying Michigan summers, and cheering on all of Detroit’s sports teams.

Originally from Oxford, Michigan, Dr. Hannah Long is proud to serve patients across southeast Michigan with the same level of care and compassion that shaped her own journey into optometry. After graduating from Oxford High School, she earned her undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University and went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry at the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University, graduating with honors in 2024.

During her final year of clinical training, Dr. Long completed rotations at Normandy Optical, the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw, Michigan Eye Institute in Rochester, and Walton & Becker Eyecare in Oxford. These diverse experiences equipped her with hands-on expertise in primary care, pediatric eye care, contact lens fittings, low vision, and the management of ocular diseases.

Today, Dr. Long provides full-scope optometric care with a strong interest in dry eye therapy, medical eye conditions, and contact lens solutions. She values building relationships with patients of all ages and takes a thoughtful, personalized approach to every exam.

Everything was extremely smooth from scheduling to check in to the exam itself and order ordering glasses. The staff was professional, everything was right on time, the technician explained all procedures before they were performed, the doctor gave me a very thorough examination and answered any questions I had. Selecting my glasses was very smooth. They have a wide variety of frames, provided the information I needed to make a good selection for me and everything was very well run. Do not hesitate to come here.
