MY OPTOMETRY

Hello to all! Thank you for visiting our website. My name is Foad J. Shirazian, and I practice Optometry in Tarzana, CA. A little bit about myself, I moved to the US in 1980 at the age of 4 with my  parents and extended family. I graduated from Taft Highschool (Woodland Hills, CA) in 1992. I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree in 1997 from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Furthermore, I attended the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) from 1997-2001 and earned my Doctorate of Optometry degree in May 2001. After working in several different specialty practices post graduation, I purchased my current practice in June 2009. I have an awesome wife and two amazing boys. I love to travel, play basketball, and just chill out. 

The practice specializes in all aspects of visioncare, from prescribing glasses/contacts to treating many different types of ocular infections/ailments. We carry a wide range of designer eyewear and contact lenses to suit each individuals needs and taste. We perform comprehensive examinations for all age groups, from toddlers to seniors. We also consult, refer, and co-manage patients needing surgery such as cataract and Laser Refractive surgery.

We accept a wide range of vision insurances such as VSP, EyeMed, MES, Spectera, Medicare, and more. If you happen to not have any vision benefits, we offer many affordable packages and options. My staff and I look forward to serving your vision needs.
