Dr. Shirazian began his academic journey at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he earned a Bachelor of Science as a double major in Biology and Psychology. During this time, he volunteered at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, a world-renowned center for eye research and treatment. This early clinical exposure played a defining role in shaping his approach to eye care—focusing on diagnosis, disease management, and long-term patient outcomes rather than transactional vision services. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2001.

Since establishing his practice, Dr. Shirazian has remained committed to a philosophy of quality over volume. Each patient receives dedicated, one-on-one attention in a setting designed for careful evaluation and clear communication.
