Our Team
Dr. Lyn Benton, O.D.
Dr. Benton earned her Bachelor’s in Biology and Chemistry from Saint Joseph’s College, graduating Cum Laude. She then received her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry. Dr. Benton performed her clinical rotations at Perkins School for the Blind, VA Boston, the New England Medical Center (now Tufts Medical Center), and the Beetham Eye Institute at Joslin Diabetes Center.
Dr. Kevin Shum, O.D., BSc
Dr. Shum attended Rhodes College in Memphis, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology. He then studied at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, where he earned his Doctor of Optometry.
Dr. Cassidy Hill, O.D.
Dr. Hill earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, magna cum laude, from the University of Maine in Orono. She then completed her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating summa cum laude with clinical honors in her final two years.
Dr. Derek Vien, O.D.
Dr. Vien studied microbiology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst for his undergraduate degree, and then earned his Doctor of Optometry from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. During his final year of optometry school, Dr. Vien completed clinical rotations in California, New Mexico, Idaho, and Arizona.
