As the lead Optomerist at Lakeshore Optical, Dr. Castro has become an expert in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions. His extensive knowledge, coupled with his genuine care for every patient, has made him a trusted figure in the community. He’s the go-to doctor for patients of all ages, known for his ability to make even the most complex eye care situations feel approachable and understandable.

Outside of work, Dr. Castro knows how to keep life balanced. Whether it’s hitting the gym to stay in top shape, perfecting his golf swing, or shooting hoops on the basketball court, he’s always staying active and on the move. But his true joy comes from spending quality time with his family. From weekend get-togethers to spontaneous adventures, Dr. Castro believes that life is all about creating lasting memories with the ones you love.

Dr. Clark Campbell brings a unique blend of discipline, precision, and compassion to his work in optometry. He grew up in Ogden, Utah, and is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he developed the leadership and attention to detail that continue to define his practice today.

Following his service as a U.S. Army helicopter pilot—with assignments in Germany and South Korea—Dr. Campbell pursued his passion for eye care, earning his Doctor of Optometry degree in Chicago. He later relocated to Arizona, where he established a private practice and continues to serve patients across multiple offices.

Dr. Campbell is especially known for his patience and thoroughness, taking the time to listen, explain, and ensure each patient feels comfortable and confident in their care.

Outside of the office, he is a proud father of eight (four boys and four girls), enjoys spending time with his dogs, and has a creative side—building Tiny Houses in his free time.

Dr. Dirk Massie

Dr. Massie joined Lakeshore Optical with an impressive background in both sports medicine and advanced clinical optometry. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois and completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Missouri, where he gained hands-on experience working with professional sports teams—including the St. Louis Rams and Blues—and university athletes.

His clinical focus is contact lens fitting for complex cases: astigmatism, corneal diseases, multifocal lenses, and orthokeratology for non-surgical vision correction. Dr. Massie also provides comprehensive eye care, including LASIK co-management and prescription treatment for glaucoma, dry eye, and allergies.

When he's not in the practice, Dr. Massie enjoys golf, traveling, and spending time with his three children—Carson, Brock, and Olivia. He's an avid Illinois sports fan.

Dr. Daniela Nicosia is a highly respected optometrist who has been providing exceptional eye care in Arizona for decades. Known for her clinical expertise, compassionate approach, and attention to detail, she has built a reputation as one of the area’s most trusted eye doctors.

Throughout her career, Dr. Nicosia has remained committed to delivering comprehensive, personalized care to every patient she sees. From routine eye exams and contact lens fittings to the diagnosis and management of ocular conditions, she combines advanced technology with years of hands-on experience to ensure the highest standard of care.
