Dr. Haley Marcus, O.D.
Education & Clinical Background
Dr. Haley Marcus earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she graduated with honors. She completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry, also graduating with honors. Her education blends clinical excellence with a strong understanding of both patient care and practice operations.
Why She Loves Eye Care
Dr. Marcus is passionate about helping people achieve and maintain their best vision while addressing underlying eye health concerns. She believes the eyes are not just a window into vision, but a reflection of overall health. This deeper purpose motivates her to treat every patient with intention, clarity, and care. She’s especially dedicated to helping those who struggle with dry eye disease, a condition she believes is too often overlooked or normalized, and is equally committed to myopia control, helping children manage nearsightedness early for better lifelong outcomes.
Special Clinical Interests
Dr. Marcus has a strong interest in:
- Dry eye management, offering patients real solutions for long-term comfort
- Myopia control
- Preventative eye care that looks at the full health picture, not just vision correction
She enjoys working with patients of all ages and takes pride in making children and families feel informed and at ease throughout their care.
Community Engagement
Giving back is a core part of Dr. Marcus’s values. She has participated in numerous school screenings throughout Los Angeles, helping ensure that children and adults alike have access to basic vision care. These outreach experiences continue to inspire her as a provider and community advocate.
Outside the Office
When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Marcus enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and baking, her favorite way to unwind and share something sweet with family and friends.
