Dr. Christopher Ruzicka, O.D., studied at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry and graduated in 1987. He earned his BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MBA from Saint Mary's College. He spends his free time cycling and skiing.
Laura Lacey, O.D.
Dr. Laura Lacey, O.D., earned her Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1989 after completing a BS in Kinesiology at UCLA. Outside the office, Dr. Lacey enjoys working out and spending time with her dog, Indie.

Dr. Cecilia Hu, O.D., grew up in the Bay Area and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Dallas. She spent several years living and working in New York and Los Angeles before returning home to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing various art projects.

I've been a patient at Dr. Lacey and Ruzicka's Optometry for over 10 years, and I can confidently say they're the best. Dr. Ruzicka is incredibly professional and respectful, and he took the time to help me fully understand my uncommon vision condition—something no other optometrist has done. His explanations made everything clear, and I really appreciated that the focus was on my well-being, not on selling products. The office is easy to find with plenty of parking, and they have a great selection of stylish frames and the most comfortable color contact lenses I've ever used. Every visit is a smooth, positive experience. Highly recommend! -TQ

I've been a patient at Dr. Lacey and Ruzicka's Optometry for over 10 years, and I can confidently say they're the best. Dr. Ruzicka is incredibly professional and respectful, and he took the time to help me fully understand my uncommon vision condition—something no other optometrist has done. I really like this office! Also I came here on a personal referral because it’s hard to choose a doctor from an internet search, but here we are! That’s why I’m leaving a review ;) Dr. Lacey is very patient and although I needed adjustments getting my prescription correct, they saw me as many times as needed. It’s easy to schedule and get appointments too. Definitely recommend!

I really like this office! Also I came here on a personal referral because it’s hard to choose a doctor from an internet search, but here we are! That’s why I’m leaving a review ;) Dr. Lacey is very patient and although I needed adjustments getting my prescription correct, they saw me as many times as needed. It’s easy to schedule and get appointments too. Definitely recommend!

They have been my eye Dr.s for more than 30 years. I was a little girl in elementary school when I found my first pair of nickelodean frames. Their staff have also been very kind. Very clean, very professional. Ive even caught Dr. Ruzika about town with his family. It is nice thinking your Doctor is also a part of your community. I have even referred friends. Their location has also been very convenient.

They have been my eye Dr.s for more than 30 years. I was a little girl in elementary school when I found my first pair of nickelodean frames. Their staff have also been very kind. Very clean, very professional. Ive even caught Dr. Ruzika about town with his family. It is nice thinking your Doctor is also a part of your community. I have even referred friends. Their location has also been very convenient.

I have been Dr. Lacey's patient for a a few years. This is probably one of the best eye doctors around. She recommended me multi focal lenses,, and I was able to get rid of two pairs of glasses...it changed my life! Always, when i have some emergency, she is able to find a way to see me. The staff is very helpful and friendly too!

I have been Dr. Lacey's patient for a a few years. This is probably one of the best eye doctors around. She recommended me multi focal lenses,, and I was able to get rid of two pairs of glasses...it changed my life! Always, when i have some emergency, she is able to find a way to see me. The staff is very helpful and friendly too!
