Dr. Magdalena Fuentes is a compassionate optometrist who takes pride in providing quality eye care to her patients. As a proud Californian and fluent bilingual speaker in English and Spanish, Dr. Fuentes enjoys helping her community achieve better vision. 

Education 

Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Long Beach 

Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University, Oregon

Treatment and management of ocular diseases, including cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye 

Co-management of cataract and LASIK pre- and post-surgical care

Scleral lenses for keratoconus and pellucid marginal degeneration 

Dr. Fuentes loves spending time outdoors, soaking up the sunshine with her one-year-old baby and taking her dogs on adventures to the beach or on hikes. She values quality time with family and friends and has a strong passion for giving back.  

Dr. Fuentes has volunteered in Guatemala, Peru, and local schools, providing much-needed eye care and donating glasses to those in need. Her goal is to continue traveling and volunteering in mission groups, making a positive impact on communities around the world. 

Dr. Karen Mohar Sanghera is an optometrist originally from Yuba City, CA. With a strong foundation in primary care and ocular disease, Dr. Mohar is committed to helping her patients achieve optimal eye health.

Doctor of Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences (2013) 

Residency in Primary Care/Ocular Disease at Fresno VA Medical Hospital 

Fellowship in the Academy of Optometry

Dr. Mohar is fluent in Punjabi and enjoys staying active in her spare time. She loves running, cycling, and spending quality time with her family. 

Dr. Sheryl Reaves is an experienced optometrist passionate about providing quality eye care to her community. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Reaves has a diverse background in optometry, including hospital, surgical, and private practice settings.  

She currently serves as the sole optometrist at a premier community health center in underserved areas of Miami Dade, as well as practicing tele-optometry across five states. 

Education 

Undergraduate and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the University of California, Berkeley 

Residency in Ocular Disease at the Brooklyn and St. Albans Veterans Affairs Program, New York 

Dr. Reaves is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry, and has served as the Vice President of the Miami Dade Optometric Physicians Association. She was honored with the Michael G. Harris Distinguished Service Award for her outstanding contributions to the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry. 

Dr. Reaves has been married to her wonderful and supportive husband for seven years and is the proud mother of a six-year-old son and a two-year-old daughter. 

In her free time, she enjoys running 5k races, indulging in a relaxing spa day, and spending sunny afternoons on Florida's beautiful beaches with her family.
