Dr. Aboudib’s vision journey began in rural Alberta.

His love for people and curiosity about vision care were sparked early. That passion took him far from home—to the vibrant island of Puerto Rico—where he attended optometry school. He not only mastered his profession there but also fell in love with the island’s culture, returning for holidays whenever he can.

Dr. Aboudib’s approach to patient care is deeply personal. He takes the time to learn about each patient’s lifestyle, challenges, and goals, uncovering opportunities where better vision can make life smoother, easier, and more enjoyable. His expertise includes solving complex vision concerns such as binocular vision issues, prism needs, and advanced phoropter testing—always with the aim of delivering the clearest, most comfortable vision possible. 

He is a devoted family man and known for being both compassionate and forthright (with a dash of sarcasm to keep things real). Dr. Aboudib ensures every visit is memorable for the right reasons. He wants patients to enjoy their experience so much that they can’t wait to recommend Eye District to family and friends.
