As a physical therapist who treats many patients with persistent post-concussion symptoms, I feel Gallaway Beckett Vision Therapy is an essential and invaluable part of the recovery process. They are professional and excellent diagnosticians and have helped many of my patients restore their quality of life! Dr. Gallaway "fixed" me! I had a concussion with many post-concussion symptoms that did not go away. I did PT for over a year with some relief, but I was still getting migraines and dizzy spells regularly, along with other symptoms like sensitivity to light, issues using a computer or device for longer periods of time, and even difficulty with driving or taking a walk around my neighborhood. My PT recommended me to Dr. Gallaway, and I am so thankful. The first month of vision therapy was tough because it initially exasperated my symptoms, but Dr. Gallaway assured me it was normal and to keep pushing through. After a month, those symptoms subsided, and I am happy to confirm that I feel SO much better and back to my pre-concussed self. Dr. Gallaway and his vision therapists are extremely knowledgeable, very clear with their directions, and the office appointments run on time. Everyone I worked with in the office was kind and excited to see my progress. I am happy to recommend Dr. Gallaway to family, friends, and strangers. I am so glad that I made vision therapy a priority and feel normal again!
