Dr. Jhaleil Phillips is an optometrist committed to putting patients’ vision needs first. With advanced training in ocular disease management, he takes a thoughtful, methodical approach to care - using the latest therapies and technologies to diagnose and treat a wide range of vision concerns. Known for his clear communication and attentive manner, Dr. Phillips ensures every patient feels comfortable, informed, and confident in their care.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Georgia and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. He went on to complete a residency in ocular disease in Gainesville, GA, before practicing for four years at a private clinic in Jacksonville, FL, where he managed the complex needs of a diverse patient population.
