Dear Friends,

After nearly forty years at Natick Eye Associates, I am writing to share a very personal announcement. I have decided that the time has come for me to retire from the practice of optometry. My retirement will become effective on March 1, 2027.

This decision comes with mixed emotions. While I look forward to the next chapter of my life, it is difficult to say goodbye to a profession—and to the patients—that have given me so much fulfillment over four decades.

As I reflect on my years at Natick Eye Associates, I am filled with gratitude. I have had the privilege of caring for generations of families, watching children grow into adults and return with families of their own. Few people are fortunate enough to serve the same community for nearly forty years, and I have never taken that privilege for granted.

Over the years, we have shared far more than eye examinations. We have shared conversations about families, careers, milestones, and life’s many changes. Many of you I have seen year after year. What began as doctor-patient relationships often grew into friendships that I will always treasure.

As an optometrist, I have spent my career helping people see more clearly. Yet I have learned that vision is only part of what matters. The trust, kindness, and connection you have shared with me have enriched my life beyond measure and taught me lessons about gratitude, resilience, and humanity that I will carry with me always.

“For the secret in the care of the patient is caring for the patient”. I found this line when I was graduating optometry school and have molded my entire career around this motto.

When I started Natick Eye Associates nearly forty years ago, I could not have imagined the journey ahead. What began as a dream grew into a lifelong calling and a community that has given me more than I could have ever hoped for.

I leave with complete confidence in the doctors and staff at Natick Eye Associates, who will continue to provide outstanding care for all of you.

There is no way to adequately thank a community that has supported me for nearly forty years, but please know your trust and friendship have meant more to me than words can express.

As I begin this new chapter, I do so with a heart full of gratitude and memories I will cherish forever.

With warmest regards and deepest appreciation,

Dr. Stewart Ginsberg, O.D.

Dr. Keith Andrews did a top notch job. He answered all of my questions, was very thorough and extremely personable. I thought I was going to get a subpar experience booking something in the mall but he is hands down the best eye doctor I've ever had. I highly recommend him!

This was my first visit, and I was impressed with both the Doctor and his professionals that did some screening test, including one for color blindness, that for the first time, proved that I do have a level of color blindness, something that I believed, but it was never proven until today. The optometry equipment is state of the art, and the environment was prestine as one would expect in such an office. The staff was courteous, from the first encounter, but they pretty much tried to sell me a service to get a photo of my retina. They didn’t ask me if I wanted that service, but instead told me that my visit today is going to cost $39 dollars while I knew that my coverage paid for my annual eye exam. I found that tactic in telling me what my visit would cost in which they included a service that I didn’t ask for or want to be un-necessary and deceptive. Aside from that, my visit was successful and I’m pleased with the service.
