Dr. Bryce Appelbaum is a board certified Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.

He completed his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis where he majored in Psychology and Pre-Medical studies and graduated with clinical honors from The Illinois College of Optometry.

Dr. Bryce Appelbaum lectures on various vision related topics

Including sports vision, acquired brain injury, strabismus and amblyopia, vision and learning, and visual behavior in the classroom. He is certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy/Orthokeratology, a specialty contact lens approach to slowing down nearsightedness and improving eyesight as an alternative to refractive surgery.

Dr. Bryce Appelbaum is passionate about helping his patients reach their optimal potential and uncovering undetected visual problems which can interfere with functioning. Additionally, he is known for applying his knowledge of visual behavior to areas beyond the classroom or workplace.

Dr. Bryce Appelbaum has worked with hundreds of professional athletes, several professional sports teams, and countless amateur athletes to transform raw talent into honed performance through vision.

Dr. Stan Appelbaum is a board certified Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.

He is a graduate of The University of Maryland and The Illinois College of Optometry, and completed a residency in Optometric Vision Therapy at the State University of New York’s College of Optometry. Dr. Stan Appelbaum, author of Eye Power, is an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the Southern College of Optometry and has served on the Board of Sensory Integration International.

He has also served on the Board of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and is a member of the Integrative Healthcare Policy Consortium Board of Directors. He has medical staff privileges at the Maryland Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital and the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington DC.

Dr. Stan Appelbaum has over 35 years experience as a behavioral optometrist and is primarily concerned with prevention, treatment, remediation, and enhancement of the visual system for his patients to achieve optimal function.

She completed her undergraduate degree from Rockhurst University in Kansas City where she majored in Biochemistry and Physics of Medicine. She went on to complete her Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Following graduation she completed a residency in Vision Rehabilitation, with emphasis in Vision Therapy and Pediatric Optometry at Wow Vision Therapy in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Dr. Starman is passionate about helping all her patients achieve their highest visual potential to meet their daily visual demands. She is committed to ensuring patients have a treatment plan specific to their individual needs and goals to give them the tools for being successful in all aspects of their lives.

Dr. Nivar completed her undergraduate degree in physics at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland OH. She then went on to complete her Optometry degree at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH where she was a member of the optometric honor society Beta Sigma Kappa. In conjunction with her Optometry degree, she also completed a Masters degree in Vision Science for which she performed a study evaluating the effects of vision problems on the eye movements associated with reading.

She is passionate about helping her patients better understand their visual system as well as how vision impacts learning. She enjoys helping patients gain confidence in exploring their visual world through improving visual skills.
