Meghan Shirley, OD

Dr. Meghan Shirley grew up in the Pittsburgh area and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from The University of Pittsburgh. She then went on to earn a Doctorate in Optometry cum laude at Illinois College of Optometry, where she was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. During her final year of school, Dr. Shirley trained under nationally renowned eye doctors at locations in Central Florida and Rhode Island.

Dr. Shirley is committed to providing comprehensive eye care including eyeglasses and contact lenses to the local Greenfield and Squirrel Hill communities. She has extensive training in disease management such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, dry eye syndrome, diabetic eye care and many others. Dr. Shirley also has in-depth training with LASIK consultation, cataract co-management, as well as, expertise in fitting specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Shirley serves her profession as a member of the American Optometric Society, the Pennsylvania Optometric Society and the Western Optometric Society. Dr. Shirley supports various local charities and regularly attends continuing medical and optometric educational conferences throughout the year so she can provide patients with state-of-the art eye care. In her free time, Dr. Shirley enjoys spending quality time with her her husband and two young daughters, bike riding, and cheering on her favorite Pittsburgh sports teams. She values the importance of getting to know each of her patients on a personal level and accommodating all of their visual needs. Dr. Shirley looks forward to meeting you and your family!

Dr. Leslie Gibson grew up in the Latrobe area where she still resides. She graduated from Duquesne University with a BS in biology and a minor in biochemistry. Dr. Gibson continued her education at The Ohio State University, earning her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2018. She completed externships at various locations including a Veterans Affairs Hospital, a community outreach clinic, and a large multi-specialty ophthalmology group. Dr. Gibson is a member of the American Optometric Society, the Pennsylvania Optometric Society, and the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society.

Dr. Gibson provides comprehensive eye care to the entire family and especially enjoys seeing children. Her extensive training in the management of ocular disease allows her to provide high quality, state-of-the-art care. She likes getting to know her patients on a personal level to better serve their everyday visual needs. Dr. Gibson is a member of the American Optometric Society, the Pennsylvania Optometric Society, and the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society.

In her free time, Dr. Gibson enjoys being active. She is an avid runner and participates in numerous road races throughout the year. She and her husband enjoy cycling together and spending time outside with their two golden retrievers. Dr. Gibson is excited to meet you and looks forward to seeing you at your next eye exam!
