Dr. Horning graduated Magna cum laude from Siena College in 1979 and later received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1982. Following a three year service in the United States Military he has owned and operated his two offices since 1989. He is past president of the Northeast Florida Optometric Society. Dr. Horning has always had an interest in children's vision and the affects of vision on classroom performance. He added Vision Therapy to his practice in 1992. He has on staff three vision therapists.
