When Jenna started vision therapy she could not write anything in sequence; much as she tried, her paragraphs never made sense. She also had a persistent b and d reversal and had all but given up reading, something she loved a year before. In the past four months since vision therapy, we have seen a number of changes. Jenna is reading again and has regained her interest in school. Her b and d reversals are almost nonexistent and she can write a paragraph with a sequence of events. Her general mood seems to be better and homework time is calmer. We have also noticed an improvement in her catching and hitting in softball. Jenna continues to improve at school and hopes to be a straight A student.

As a result of vision therapy, I noticed an incredible change in my ability to read for meaning over greater durations. I read longer with clearer vision than I have ever before. This change was especially noticeable on my SAT exams. My verbal score went from a 620 to a 710.
I have also seen a marked improvement in my ability to see rotation of objects much more clearly. I can read the spin on a baseball with far greater ease than I could before. [Binocular depth perception.]

Craig has improved in the following areas:
School
Even though Craig had good grades before (Honor Roll), he has now achieved High Honors.
Sports
Before therapy, Craig was unable to make a basket in basketball. Now the coach tells the other players to pass the ball off to Craig since he makes many baskets. In baseball, he could never catch the ball much; now he catches the ball whether it is hit to him or thrown to him.

I have seen a great difference in Tom's reading ability. His left/right perception has greatly improved. He has headaches and eye soreness less frequently. He also has less bumps and bruises from walking into things. Most importantly, he is not completely intimidated by starting new tasks in school because he now can accomplish them. These improvements will give him chances in school and careers he might have missed without visual therapy. Thank you for your patience and dedication.

Grace has improved her school performance greatly and indeed even now enjoys reading! We could not be happier that we found out about vision therapy. The exercises that Grace learned are still being incorporated into school and daily life, and we hope to improve her skills even more. ƒThanks Dr. Lack!

Thank you for helping our son. Under your care and Vision Therapy, James's reading level in elementary school (grade 2) went from Level 9 to Level 15 during session #1 (12 weeks). This improvement was the milestone we've been waiting for!!! Thanks again!!!

When my son first started Vision Therapy, he had a great deal of trouble shifting his focus from one object to another. He moved his head rather than his eyes. I noticed a huge difference in this by the end of his treatment. He is now able to move his eyes rapidly from one object to another.
A second difference is that he now receives and processes information from both eyes. When he first put on the 3-D glasses with one green lens and one red one, he only saw green. Now he sees the blended color which indicates that the input from both eyes is being used.
Gavin says he is reading much faster and I see a definite improvement in this area as well.

The greatest gift of the vision therapy is Joseph's new desire to read. His discovery of the joys of reading is a direct result of the training he's received.
The results have impressed us and educated us to the visual means by which Joseph's overall well-being can be helped. We look forward to incorporating the ideas we learned from Dr. Lack into Joseph's life style and education. Thank you for your care.

My daughter Elise was extremely clumsy, although she could ride a 2-wheeler at age 5. She often tripped on her feet, missed stairs, walked into things. Elise was always covered with bruises.
Since vision therapy, Elise is more confident, displays more coordination and is rarely bruised. She avidly enjoys gymnastics, and once vision therapy began, she was able to perform cartwheels and forward rolls with much less effort. Elise can now comfortably walk the balance beam and can jump the horse.
Dr. Lack was successful in treating Elise because he is committed to keeping the therapy fun and game-like. His rapport with my daughter is genuine and heartfelt. Thank you so much!

I have watched my 6-year-old son Patrick, who could not navigate a room properly, read a sentence without getting frustrated or climb monkey bars or anything else for that matter, transform into the bright, energetic and active child I always knew was there but no one else could see.
I am a true believer in the success of vision therapy. If you are undecided on the benefits, please believe me, it really does work!

I just wanted to tell you how wonderfully Laura is reading. At the end of last school year she was at a level 12, which is below grade level by 4 to 6 levels. When she returned to school, after spending the summer reading almost every day, she had reached a level 18. Anyway, she is now at a level 20, which is grade level. Her handwriting has improved tremendously too. I thought that you would like to hear this good news.
